Dwayne Johnson, a former Hurricanes player, funded this locker room on the second floor of the Schwartz Center, which connects to the Hecht Athletic Center on the north side of the University of Miami campus.
Every player gets a dedicated bay built around a lockbox with phone charging, separate shoe and clothing storage, and racks to dry pads and gear between practices. Overhead, a backlit U is set into the ceiling so no one walks across the team's mark. Beyond the lockers, the room holds a meeting area with audio-visual equipment, a nutrition station, lounge seating with large-screen TVs, direct access to the practice fields, and a wall of lockers and plaques honoring past Hurricanes by jersey number.
